报告简介： Life starts from the ocean. Ocean products have great benefit to our health. My research focuses on marine products, two major examples are green lip mussel and seaweed Undaria pinnatifida. I will introduce health benefits of those two products in various disease conditions and their possible mechanism of action, including antioxidant, immune modulation and tumour receptor inhibition. The uniqueness of New Zealand fucoidan, a polysaccharide extracted from seaweed, will also be discussed. |
